The Global Observation of Forest and Land Cover Dynamics (GOFC-GOLD) is an international effort involving scientists, industry and government officials working on a coordinated strategy to bring the earth's forests under continuous observation. More than 100 participants from 31 countries attended the meeting.

SarVision contributed actively to working sessions to develop international technical consensus in critical areas including reducing emissions from deforestation and degradation (REDD), the development of standards and reporting guidelines and assessment and validation of forest and land cover change.
