Contribution to GEO workshop Canberra
Dirk Hoekman (WUR) presented our state of the art work on the use of advanced radar technologies for forest and land cover change monitoring at the GEO Forest Carbon Tracking Workshop in Canberra, Australia, 7-9 April 2009.
The first workshop in the 2009 Work Plan of the GEO Forest Carbon Tracking initiative brought together a diverse group of stakeholders and contributors to address the technical foundations required in support of consistent global frameworks for forest carbon tracking. Participants included representatives from the Australian, Indonesian and Norwegian governments and leading institutes, among others.
